A BRIEF HISTORY

Welcome to 244 Kitchener Rd Stafford Heights, the home of Physical Addiction Gym and Stafford Squash Centre, a Community Family Fitness Centre. Physical Addiction Health and Fitness Centre was built in 1975 and was one of the largest gyms on Brisbanes’ Northside during the 70s and 80s.

The Facility is owned by the Robins Family and was built by Ernie Robins. It is now operated by Fred Robins, and is still a proudly, family-owned and operated business today. Our membership prices are the best in Brisbane because we run the facility as a small family business. To us, this is a friendly community we have built overtime and can’t wait to watch grow over the next coming years.

What we have:

The centre is on 5500 square metres with 6 Squash Courts, and a 130 square metre group fitness room which hosts Zumba Dance, Power Addiction (a weights class), Cardio Addiction (high carb burn class), Yoga, Pilates, and Boxing Classes. Plus we offer a pool, personal training and therapy. When it comes to fitness, we have something for all!

We also offer an onsite Masseus, onsite Physio, several Personal Trainers. We have 3 PT Groups that offer Functional Group Training in 45 - 60 minute classes to complement the 10 traditional group classes of Physical Addiction. We have 3 main workout spaces that hold a range of people, and consist of many fundemental machines which you would want to use in your workout routine.
